Child Joining
Volunteer with us!
Scouting is only possible through the efforts of 100,000 adult volunteers across the UK. Volunteering with our group can mean anything from helping with administrative tasks to assisting at section meetings. You can fit volunteering around your work and family commitments.
Do you have the energy, enthusiasm and ability to inspire young people and join with them on the adventure that is Scouting? Whether you want to help on a regular or occasional basis, or have skills and experience that can help add to that adventure, there are opportunities for you!
You don’t need any specific skills or qualifications to help at Scouts, and you can learn and gain experience and knowledge as you volunteer. Scouting is about flexible volunteering, and if you are willing to lend us a helping hand, we can help you find the best role for you!
Are you ready? Take the first step!
If you are interested in finding out more, just fill in the form below and we’ll be in touch, ready to help you take your next steps into Scouting!
What happens after you contact us?
You will be sent an email as a confirmation and that your details will be passed onto the appropriate section leader (Beavers, Cubs or Scouts) who will then be in contact about your child starting. Your child will then be invited to that section meeting for a trial process.
